Vintage Blues Bash
Award winning wine, outstanding blues, and the beautiful countryside await you at LEMON CREEK WINERY’S annual VINTAGE BLUES BASH on July 20th, 2013. This summer concert tradition begins at 12:00 noon EST., with live music lasting until 8:00 pm.
ELWOODS SPLINTERS BLUES BAND starts the day off at 1:00pm. A staple of the northern Midwest blues scene, this band is celebrating 20 years of “flat out, down right blues” featuring Ole Harv of WVPE’s Blues Review fame.
Next up is SHAKE ‘N CHILL invited again at the personal request of the winemaker at Lemon Creek, with some smokin’ rhythm and blues. They have participated in every Blues Bash to date.
Finishing up the evenings line-up will be THE WHISTLE PIGS. They are a versatile, seven piece band featuring a brass section, good vocals, and some great instrumentals.
THE VINTAGE BLUES BASH is a family event. Admission is $10.00 at the gate for 21 and older, under 21 free when accompanied by family. This includes 5 free tastings of estate grown and bottled, award winning Lemon Creek wine, plus a souvenir wine glass.
Attendees will have an opportunity to purchase grilled food provided by the Outdoor Kitchen. They are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. All carry in items may be subject to search, as outside alcohol is prohibited.

Come stop by our Berrien Springs location for our 18th Annual Harvest Festival hosted by Lemon Creek & NPR WVPE 88.1! The general admission is $10 for 21 & over, under 21 free when accompanied by family. You will receive a souvenir wine glass with tasting tickets. These tasting tickets will get you FIVE free samples of our award winning Lemon Creek wine, our gift to you.
Tasting tickets DO NOT get you a glass of wine, ONLY samples. If you wish to get a glass of our Lemon Creek wine you may purchase a full glass (price varies depending on the type of wine). Lemon Creek also provides you with FREE parking across the street.
Live blues, funk and reggae music will be provided by the band BANDERSNATCH a high energy multimedia band from South Bend, IN from 1:00pm-5:00pm. We encourage people to bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit outside while enjoying the music, wine, and Lemon Creek's beautiful property.
Our farm market will be open but we will NOT have U-pick available on festival day. No coolers or outside alcohol are permitted on the property and will be checked at the gate. Hayrides through the vineyard will be provided on the day of the festival. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase grilled picnic food provided by Outdoor Kitchen. So come join us for a fun day of wine, music and fun!

Tenative Home Wine Makers 2013 Schedule
White varietals are available as juice by the gallon.
Red varietals are available as grapes by the pound (1 blend will be available as juice*).
12-15 lbs of red grapes are needed to make one gallon of juice.
You must supply your own containers for juice or grape transport
There are two “rounds” to the home wine makers program; depending on harvest dates round one tends to be mid-September, round two in early October. (This is of course weather dependent and we will not harvest the grapes until they are ready.)
We begin taking orders for both rounds in August (by phone).
Home wine makers will be notified as soon as we set a harvest date (typically a weeks notice will be given to confirm orders and pick up dates).
Yeast will be available for purchase.
We reserve the right to change or limit quantities.

(White Varietal) Seyval Blanc - $9 per gallon
(Red Varietal) Chancellor - $0.80 per pound
(White Varietal) Riesling - $15 per gallon
(White Varietal) Vidal Blanc - $9 per gallon
(Red Varietal) Chambourcin - $0.80 per pound
(Red Varietal) Cabernet Suavignon - $1.30 per pound
(Red Varietal) Cabernet Franc - $1.30 per pound
* (Red Blend) Chancellor/Chambourcin $12 per gallon
Festival Rules and Guidelines:
By state law, only Lemon Creek Wine is allowed on premises.
No other alcohol will be permitted; therefore we will be checking all coolers, picnic baskets, etc., at the gate.
The legal drinking age is 21. IDs will be checked at the door and wristbands verifying drinking age must be worn at all times.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Lemon Creek Winery highly encourages all parties to designate a sober driver.
